The Hydrocarbons Licensing Directive Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2010

These Regulations implement, as respects Northern Ireland (except in the territorial sea), Articles 2.2, 3 (other than Article 3.2), 4, 5 and 6 of Council Directive (94/22/EC) on the conditions for granting and using authorisations for the prospection, exploration and production of hydrocarbons (“the Directive”) (O.J. L164, 30.6.94, p.3) and are supplemental to the Petroleum Production Regulations (Northern Ireland) 1987 (S.R. 1987 No. 196) (“the 1987 Regulations”). The Regulations come into operation on 28thMay 2010.
